After which we met up with Tony and took a trolley tour around San Diego. We drove over to Coronado which is an island connected by a man made bridge and has its own community and a great beach which we explored briefly.
We decide that we needed to get back to the convention centre so that we could register. Tony and Joe had 4 day passes with preview which meant Wednesday night was included. Graham would have to register the next morning. so he wondered around nearby town taking pictures of things outside of the Con and there was plenty happening.
While Joe and Tony explored the showroom floor which is huge. There was much to see and not enough time to see but a small portion.
Joe met up with Felicia Day(actress from the Guild), Dave Dorman(illustrator) and took some photos.
We then all met outside to get some food.
We had planned to meet up with the Geek Tyrant crew at 8pm. These guys basically blog all about movies, Tv, Comics, Games etc. All that is popular culture. We met them last time we were there and kept up contact. They were fun and it was good to talk all that is geek. with them about 10.30pm we decide to get some icecream from a place called Ghiderellis which was quite good.
We decided to go home but missed the last trolley so we caught a taxi instead. While we were waiting we took photos of the things we saw, like the new Total Recall movie Car which was being prepared for display.
We also saw Guy Pierce and Tony shouted out Aussie to which Guy shouted back Aussie. Have to support each other.
